  20. You could try resetting the modem to the factory-state with AT&F0 and then
  21. storing this in the modem with AT&W0 .

  23. Did you try the modem to a local 28k8 BBS ?
  24. Did you get CONNECT 28800 or similar ? (Then get around 3000 cps)

  26. If you tried it on an internet connection, then it is not so bad...I sometimes
  27. get 0-400 cps when downloading software from an internet-site, with a 28k8
  28. connection to my provider...
  29. I must say that this depends on the time of day...

  36. For internet I recommend using the standard serial.device, because 8n1.device
  37. seems to have problems with AmiTCP...
